Saturday 22nd February 2025
We played Herts Bowling Club last Saturday and we put a good fight up,
after a poor start to the match.
We lost by just 18 shots which was a great achievement considering 75% of Croxley players do not play bowls indoors.
On 3 of our rinks we started poorly with heavy loses but then the tide turned and all 3 teams caught up and eventually won.
A good result for Croxley Guild

Friday 31st of January 2025
We have vibrant and enthusiastic Short Mat sessions, In the club house during the Winter months
On Friday 31st of January 2025, we held a tournament for every session to play a competitive game.
There was an amazing turnabout, 10 triples teams took part.
It turned into a fantastic day of fun and laughter just the thing to brighten a dull January. It was a close contest with Marion, Hazel and Maggie as the winners, Sue, Jane and Val as runners up, and coming in a close third William, Angie and Rosey.
Short Mat is such a fun way to spend a couple of hours and I am sure everyone who took part really enjoyed it.
